Running a 26.2 mile marathon is grueling, but imagine running it in a fog. Not so much thick as the clichéd split pea soup, but more like an unclarified broth. Consider running in a world with no distinct edges, no specific definition of where something begins or ends, without disparate colors, where magnification helps slightly, but not in a portable way that you can take on a run.The legally blind author, Rhonda Copeland, also known as “Vision Runner†has had to discontinue many of the normal day-to-day activities that others take for granted like driving, riding her bike and photography. The one thing she refused to give up though was her passion for running - so she simply chose not to.Whether you’re a runner or not, this book will inspire you to move beyond the limiting beliefs that hold you back and keep you from accomplishing everything your heart desires. Running with Jesus - W. Bennett Summary

Sitting in the quiet morning, his mind flashed back to his grandson, Ethan, and his stubborn display of determination to have his way. Yes indeed, he had to admit, he was like his grandson. He was also determined and perhaps that was the reason he couldn't escape that memory. But he had so many times before relived memories of changes in his life. Why? Because he always felt great comfort in recalling the many difficult times he had been blessed. Times when he had prayed for help like the 23rd mile incidents and had found something deep inside to help him through. Though he considered himself a problem solver, he felt like he knew his limitations. Perhaps that's where he developed the attitude that he could deal with anything with the Lord's help, but there were many, many things he could not handle unless God helped. Still this was uncharacteristic and he was drawn to problem solve.

Big Foot Adventures Down Under

Big Foot Adventures Down Under Pdf/ePub eBook

Big Foot Adventures Down Under - Maggie Meyer Summary

Out of the dawn of Man they came; the huge, hairy, monstrous ape-men of the aboriginal myth and legend. They haunted the more remote, mountainous forest recesses of the Australian continent, as well as the inhospitable open country of the vast interior... They are 'megastralian' monster-men of both myth and reality who come from a time, lost so far back in the mists of the past that their origins can at present only be guessed at. Yet they lived - for they have left evidence of their former presence, in the folklore of our aborigines, as well as in their massive stone implements scattered across the country, and in the often monstrous foot prints they left to fossilize into rock as they journeyed across the landscape of this timeless land... Excerpts from 'Giants From the Dreamtime - The Yowie in Myth and Reality' - Rex Gilroy.

Running--Just Undo It

Running--Just Undo It Pdf/ePub eBook

Running--Just Undo It - Jack Nirenstein Summary

"Recognized leaders in the scientific research and development fields of running should never have been taken seriously. They have all failed to solve the mechanics of what it takes to run. My techniques are not simply better, they are the only way to do it effectively. They will help everyone achieve better health, safety, and performance than they have been able to do by running the old way." If running is a part of your exercise routine, Running-Just Undo It will help you improve your performance. Author Jack Nirenstein's amazing methods will transform how you run by teaching you simply to pay close attention to the mechanics of the human body. While gravity running is not a new concept, the Nirenstein method is the first and only way to make it work. Nirenstein contends that athletes tend to let bad science interfere with their inherent body mechanics. Too many runners don't achieve optimum performance because of inaccurate instructions about "proper form." The standard science of pushing hard for a longer stride sounds logical, but Nirenstein shows you how it actually opposes the body's forward motion. With stretching techniques, step-by-step instructions for all types of running, and many helpful photos and illustrations, you'll be off and running in no time!

The Poetry of Sunshine

The Poetry of Sunshine Pdf/ePub eBook

The Poetry of Sunshine - Sunshine Summary

Hello, this is SunShine, coming at you with wisps and wonderings of poems, all written on pages of tablets in a state mental hospital and typed up on my relatively inexpensive laptop, the one I bought while living in a van, by city parks and the river. Here, within these pages, discover the thoughts of a modern-day diagnosed young woman with bipolar disorder, committed and locked up for hearing a sole sentence of a voice from God, and well, painting all the apartment walls. Bipolar disorder, commonly known as Manic-Depression, is characterized by extreme changes in mood and behavior. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, bipolar disorder affects 2.6% of the population of the United States, approximately 5.7% million adults. Many bipolar people are extremely creative and excel in the performing arts, music, writing, painting, and photography. I suffered through an "episode" to find myself homeless, 1700 miles from my home, and broke, and then committed to the state hospital. Poetry has always been a major form of expression for me, words spilling on paper like water from a faucet. One thing we could do to mark our individuality locked up was write, (and crochet of course). I hope Poems from the Heart of Manic Depression are found to be engrossing and entertaining. Indulge in SunShine Artwork/Photography and the work of contributing photographer Aaron to gladden the eye and lubricate the soul. Gone Scooby with a pallet knife and oils. Sunshine
